Florìda is an artist-run studio and indie residency program located in the heart of Genoa, near Via del Campo and the historical harbor. It was founded by Stefano Boccardo and Fausto Montanari, who wanted to create a safe space for a global dialogue that would generate opportunities for artistic experimentation and research.
The Florìda Residency invites artists from all fields of practice and career stages to submit their projects either through an Open call or by self-initiated submission. The program is centered around personal exploration, professional development, connection with the territory, and collaboration.
The Florìda project is experimental and aims to promote the development of the territory through the tools of art, co-creation, and international artistic mobility. It aspires to encourage new lifestyles and experiences, with special attention to young people in the historical center.
